14/09/2024 : Swachhata Pakhwada (1st to 14th September 2024)

Christu Jyothi Convent Sr. Sec. School, Baraut, celebrated Swachhata Pakhwada from 1st to 14th September 2024 with great enthusiasm and dedication. The 15-day cleanliness drive aimed to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation among students, staff, and the community.

Inauguration

The event was inaugurated by the school's Manager Sr. Rosline, Principal Dr. Sr. Jessi Jose and other staff members,  who emphasized the importance of cleanliness in our daily lives. Students from various classes participated in the oath-taking ceremony, pledging to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in their surroundings.

Activities

Throughout the 15 days, the school organized various activities to promote cleanliness, including:

1. Cleanliness Drives: Students and staff members participated in cleaning the school premises, classrooms, and surrounding areas.

2. Poster Making: Students created posters and slogans to spread awareness about cleanliness and hygiene.

3. Essay Writing: Students wrote essays on the importance of cleanliness and its impact on society.

4. Skits and Plays: Students performed skits and plays to convey the message of cleanliness and hygiene.

5. Guest Lectures: Experts spoke to students about the importance of sanitation, waste management, and personal hygiene.

Community Involvement

The school also involved the local community in the cleanliness drive. Students and staff members participated in cleaning the nearby areas, spreading awareness about cleanliness, and distributing pamphlets on hygiene practices.
